A complete power down on Acer Laptop V5-571 one the finnest Ultrabooks from acer all of sudden stopped taking charge laptop would not take charge from mains charger and when battery ran out laptop gone completely dead.We were told by client laptop had a power shock and spark from mains but luckily on close inspection we simply found DC charging socket damaged . 

Charging socket was replaced with genuine part and laptop worked completely fine client was very happy . Thanks
